The second Saturday of July was a red letter day for all the kids of the Children of Diversity, a foster agency in Houston, as they received school supplies and gifts from the Children’s Joy Foundation USA.
This is the third among a series of Gift Giving and Feeding Projects planned by CJF USA across cities in the United States of America and its neighboring countries. The project began in June this year and will culminate in October.
The Children of Diversity provides foster or adoptive care to children in need for a short period of time with the goal of reunifying the children back into their families. However, if this is not possible, the agency also provides long term foster care or assists in the process of adoption or emancipation.
Music and laughter filled the air as the 120 children and their foster parents feasted on sumptous food and received their school supplies and gifts prepared by the CJF USA staff.
The Children of Diversity presented the Children’s Joy Foundation a Plaque of Appreciation for what CJF USA did for the children and for the partnership that the two (2) organizations have developed.
Children of Diversity Director, Dr. Candice Enincio, stated during the interview that Children of Diversity is more than willing to partner with CJF USA in its future projects for foster children and parents in the Houston, Texas area.
